What is the best way to become a martial art fighter without training?

recently I just become popular at school... so i was thinking of showing of my skills to them... give me the best answer.... dont let me down dude!!!

What is the best way to become a martial art fighter without training?
Just get yourself a Chuck Norris mask.
Reply:you kinda have to train...... even if its not in an "official" dojo or whatever. just read books and practice what it says in them, because you gotta practice somehow.
Reply:through osmosis, if you were capable of such a thing, but your not so you have to train, just like you would if you wanted to be good at anything
Reply:Dink a case of Red Bull and watch a Bruce Lee marathon, that should do it!
Reply:Sorry but its impossible. My bf does Wing Chun - Kung Fu and 60% of it is traning and the other 40% is disapline.

You could try looking up how to condition your body.
Reply:watch lots of bruce lee movies
Reply:DUDE you can't be a martial arts fighter without knowing martial arts DUHHHHH DUDE you say that you became popular at school. obviously not for your brain DUHHHHHH DUDE
Reply:smoke some bud, watch you tube and think about how sexy you would be to kick someones a**. Then swing you arms and legs and make cool karate chopping noises. You will be good in nooo time.
Reply:know one who is actually popular sits around thinking "I'm glad to be popular" your still a loser on the inside and obviously to become a martial arts fighter you've gotta know martial arts dumbass
Reply:Fight students at school that are much weaker than you, typically the majority of these students will be girls.

Make sure to do your research to find out if they know martial arts themselves before you go choosing the unlucky victim of your natural god given martial arts fists of fury.
Reply:That's like asking...

"How do I become a Chef without actually having to cook anything?".

Ludicrous question.
Reply:You cant become a martial arts fighter without training. Books and videos alone wont cut it at all. They are training aids to be used along with proper instruction and physical stregnth training and conditioning. Trust me, real fighting efficiency is all about reaction time, strength, good tecnhique and ability.

You can not get thiswithout training at a gym or martial arts school. Especially good technique. If your sole purpose is to impress your friends with fancy martial arts techniques (which is a stupid idea IMO no offense, but it just seems like a waste of money and time) then traditional Japanese Jiu Jitsu has a number of fancy wrist and arm locks that will be sure to impress, however it tends to be quite expensive to train in. Wushu has the flips and flying kicks that are largely ineffective for fights, but it does look fancy.

If you want to impress your friends with true combat effictiveness rather than flashy moves (which they will probably be alot more impressed with anyway) and actually learn how to fight, then arts like Judo, (the throws in Judo will still look VERY impressive if executed well, and its a VERY effective art for kicking people ***) Wrestling or Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Judo is dirt cheap, and if you live in the US your high school most likely would have a wrestling team. Girls love strong wrestlers man. Girls love fit BJJ guys too, however BJJ is probably the most expensive out of the arts I listed.

Muay Thai, Boxing and Kyokushin are the most effective striking styles (fist and kicks) that will be very impressive to onlookers if you have to fight someone. However they arent really a good option for demonstrating on friends because they are striking arts and would hurt them. Your friends probably wouldnt like you to much if you went around hitting them. However they will make you extrememly fit if you train hard and Kyokushin will make your body tough as nails. Surely impressive. Plus you'll have the added benefit of having self confidence and knowing you will be able to defend yourself should the need arise, which will become apparent in your everyday demeanor. Girls can smell confidence, so it's a good thing to have. Do not take a style of karate other than Kyokushin though, the other styles tend to be lazy on training and far less effective, inspiring false confidence.

Train in any of those arts I mentioned (except JJJ and Wushu) and you will be able to kick most peoples asses and youre friends will feel very safe around you and love it.

BTW to the girl that said her boyfriend trains at a Wing Chun school which does 60% training and 40%. Tell him to quit and do something better immediately. A good martial arts school should be 100% training ALWAYS. Unless hes a child he doesn't need dicipline, and if he does theres always the army. He's being ripped off to be blunt.
Reply:Training is the answer!!! but since youre doing it just to look like Biff from Back to the Future, check a few Internet sites out which gives tips and fighting techniques, learn them at home, and try and look good.

Reply:Here's an idea, stop trying to be someone you are not. Dude.
Reply:Yo dude,by watching the videos only you would not be able to fight.train is to see which part that you can't do the moves, train and train and train to make that move flawless. And also to try out the moves that u have picked out.good luck
Reply:Dude you rule!!!!!!! Here are the steps I would take to become a great fighter without having to train.

1) Get a video game consol

2) Get any good fighting game

3) Do whatever you have to do to get in your zone. Obviously you are intelligent so I'm guessing smoke some bud or drink some bud.

4) Play for 3 days straight.

5) go to school and find the biggest dude you can and call him a girl.

6) When he gets mad drop into whatever fighting stance worked best for you in the video game.

7) Shout load so that everyone can see you and attack him.

8) Wake up in the school nurses office or the hospital.

YOU ROCK DUDE!!!!!!!!!!!!

EDIT: To SHAUNY D- I take offense at your statement that only kyokushin is the only effective karate style. While I only have 18 years in the martial arts compared to your 7, I still feel qualified to make this statement. I Train Isshin-Ryu karate, which unlike kyokushin has no rules. We can punch to the head. I also have met many Isshin-ryu masters who have been training longer than you have been alive, and you would hope you never pressed them into a corner where they had to fight if it was for real. I have also met masters from Shorin-Ryu, Gojo-Ryu, Uechi-Ryu that could put the hurt to you also. I am not saying Isshin-Ryu is the best, but you should know what you are talking about before you spout off.

2nd edit: Lord_Odd-In no way did I state that Isshin-Ryu was superior to any other art. I actually mentioned other styles. As far as no one saying one karate style is better than another I quote from Shauny D'd post:

"Do not take a style of karate other than Kyokushin though, the other styles tend to be lazy on training and far less effective, inspiring false confidence."

I do reseect Kyoshin karate, as I try and restpect all styles for what they are. I am only defending a style that I have devoted my life to, and one that I know is highly effective in reality.
Reply:go the hood, walk up to some thugs on the corner, and curse them out.............this will prepare you for any street fight.........EVENTUALLY. :)
Reply:Go to the nearest bar ask the bartender to point out the toughest guy in the joint light a cigar and put it out in his beer while saying something nasty about his momma.

After you get out of hospital go back and do it again and keep on doing it until you can put him in hospital. That's the quick but painful way to learn the other way is to actually take lessons and learn.
Reply:You need to control your ego, it it will be your downfall.

The means have to justify the ends, there can be no other way.

The only way to be a martial art fighter is to train.

Find another method, fighting is for people that are not intelligent enough to find a peaceful solution.
Reply:You can't become anything without training.

That's like thinking you could be a doctor without going to medical school.

katana17: Chill out. I don't think anyone is saying that a particular style is better than another. Kyokushin karate has been in the public eye for a long time and has its benefits. Just because it has a sporting aspect doesn't make it inferior to your art.
Reply:Some people do things with natural talent. Take for instance some kids have a natural talent of drawing without even studying it. Whether you can do it or not, thats on you. I learned most of my moves from practice and my passion for it. Then some I learned from fighting gyms and other fighters' experience. Who was the 1st martial artist in the world? Where did he/she train? Who taught them? You can do it, be a martial artist. But you still have to train to be the best, whether its on your own or with others.
Reply:Your an idiot.

And watch what you say. A really martial artist could here you talking s**t and come and kick your **s.... dood
Reply:I won't come down on you like some of the previous answers and I'll assume this odd question is actually serious.

The best I can tell you is to watch a couple of youtube videos on simple one legged takedowns and then moving to an armbar. The kind you always saw in the early UFCs. I wouldn't recommend doing this though, in high school some jerk is gonna want to try an see if he is a better fighter than you and you will probably get pummelled if he's any good.
Reply:What you want isn't possible, and the fact that you'd even ask a question like the seriously shows that not only aren't you able to do it now, but you'll probably never be able to in the end. Martial arts aren't for expanding your fleeting highschool popularity, and you'll never be very good at them with this type of mindset. Sorry, I know it's not what you wanted to hear.
Reply:you will never be a martial arts fighter you prat!! if you want it you have to train, you have neither the will power or disciplne, your a looser
Reply:short answer you can not

But if you read alot of books watch alot of vids then yes you will become smarter in theory. and make is seem like you know alot about martial arts seeing and doing is two different things. so why would any one want to be something they are not.
Reply:first you gotta, shut the ***** up.
